So far, I haven’t had a lot of success finding a good rhythm for this blog.  I’ve thought enough about it,  but just haven’t figured out the best way to use the blog.  The past few months have been a period of growth for The Larkspur Group and it hasn’t left me with much time to contribute to the blog.   Moving forward, however, I plan to post new entries on the blog twice a month.  The entries will have a variety of themes – from new business, to new product offerings, to industry news.  I’ll also post some photos of recently completed projects.  My posts will be on or about the 5th and the 20th of every month.  Since we’re in the month of July and a lot of weddings are happening, my post on the 20th will be about the new wedding products that are available.  I’ll highlight a few products that I love and photo gift ideas for bridal attendants, parents, and siblings.

It’s almost time for the spring wedding season.  Photographers are gearing up to take wonderful pictures that preserve the moments of the most memorable of days.  The Larkspur Group, LLC is ready to design one-of-a-kind page layouts that become pages in beautiful wedding albums.  We welcome all photographers to check out our design, print & bind services for a variety of vendors.  We can simplify your life by working directly with brides to create a most unique wedding album.  If  you’re a bride who has a CD with your wedding images, we can turn those images into a beautiful album you’ll be thrilled to share with your family and friends.

We are participating in the trade show that is part of the Virginia Professional Photographer’s Association annual convention.  This is our second year at the show and we are excited about the new products and services we’re offering this year.  We have many great books to show this year and we’ll also be demonstrating how easy it is for clients to upload their photos to the website and start to work on a new book.  If you’re in Portsmouth on Sunday, February 21st, visit the Renaissance Hotel and stop by our booth!

We’ll have books by Zookbinders, Vision Art, Miller’s, Shared Ink and White House Custom Colour!  We have books of all sizes that fit a variety of price points.  As a photographer with many different package offerings, we’re sure you’ll find something that meets your needs!

Welcome to our new blog!  The Larkspur Group is undergoing a lot of change and 2009 is looking to be a great year for us! We are in the process of revamping our website and in January, it will have a totally new look.  Along with the new look will come quite a bit of functionality.  Clients will be able to log into the website and upload their photos for their custom photo books.  After we complete the design of the pages, we’ll be able to send you a link to your album and you can preview the pages online, forward the link to friends and family and reply to us with comments and approval.

We’re very excited to usher in the new year in just a couple weeks.  Even though the economy may be in recession, we’re not slowing down!  Instead, we’re working harder to make our business thrive.

Through this blog, we’ll let you know what’s new in our product line, and update you with trends in the custom photo products industry.  We’ll let you know about the vendors we’re working with and the new products their introducing.
